Emma enjoys seeing the beauty in everything she paints and this is an important aspect of her work ethic. Her expressive use of colour and spontaneous brush strokes create a fresh and contemporary feel, whilst the paintings remain descriptive of the scene and its mood. Emma spent five years in Italy, studying at a Florentine Atelier in the heart of the ancient city and immersing herself in the Italian culture, painting, sculpting, teaching and developing her style in oils and clay. On returning to London in 2008 she had her first solo show in June 2009, represented by La Galleria in Pall Mall. Emma was recently chosen by the Polo Ralph Lauren team to exhibit a selection of her colourful landscapes and sculptures as part of their spring collection display. These works will be exhibited in both the Bond Street and Brompton Cross windows from April’10. Emma now works from her studio in west London where she takes commissions for both portrait and landscape painting and Bronze portrait and figurative sculptures.
